Swedish Metal - Strandberg, Boss HM-2, Bogren "Khrim" Drums

This time it's all about Swedish Metal!

Let me tell you a story about this song
For some time I wanted to record a song using Boss HM-2 in style of old school Swedish Death Metal. Was on a hunt for a legendary pedal, but I didn't pulled a trigger. Instead of that I tried HM-2 NAM simulations found on https://www.tone3000.com and TBH they are amazing! So no need for spending money on an actual pedal - at least for now. So recently when I was visiting my parents I took with me Strandberg NX7, Arturia Audio Interface and MacBook Pro M2 so I could start recording some riffs.

Once I was happy with a music foundation for future song, I wanted to start working on drums - I was using Toontrack Superior Drummer 2 since 10 years maybe so I wanted to use it now to. Unfortunately it sopped working after recent MacOS update :( So, I was on a hunt for anything that can sound good enough and doesn't cost $300 and I remember that in the past I installed Bogren Digital Krim Free Drums. All I can say is that they are amazing! I remember hours spend on setting up my drum sound with Superior Drummer. I can forget about it with Khrim drums - it's all setup perfectly out of the box. For sure I will by full version, but IMHO this are the best free drums on the market!

So as you can here I tried to sound like Swedish Oldschool Death Metal, but instead I sound like me again :D

But I'm using Swedish Guitar, with Swedish Drums, trying to use Swedish DM Pedal, and some Swedish DM-style riffs - close enough :D

I also wanted to try multiple rhythm guitars per side, and this time I did it!
For rhythm guitars there are 3 tracks per side (L and R):
1. BOSS HM-2 NAM profile into Orange Mid Gain NAM
2. The same DI processed with Splawn Nitro OD-1 NAM
3. Second DI track with 6505 low gain for harmony

There are 3 IRs in use:
1. Simix 412 Marshall 1960A for Boss HM-2 with Orange
2. Free Mesa OS 412 57/m160 for Spawn Nitro
3. ML Sound Labs "BEST IR IN THE WORLD" for 6505
It's also used for solo, combined with 6505 NAM
