In this video I have explained Apache Tomcat Installation Steps on Linux or RHEL 9
1. Install package 'java-11-openjdk-headless
2. yum install java-11-openjdk-headless*
3. useradd -r -m -U -d /opt/tomcat -s /bin/false tomcat
4. wget -c https://dlcdn.apache.org/tomcat/tomca...
5. https://dlcdn.apache.org/tomcat/tomca...
6. tar xf apache-tomcat-10.1.17.tar.gz -C /opt/tomcat
7. ln -s /opt/tomcat/apache-tomcat-10.1.17 /opt/tomcat/updated
8. chown -R tomcat: /opt/tomcat/*
9. sh -c 'chmod +x /opt/tomcat/updated/bin/*.sh'
10. vi /etc/systemd/system/tomcat.service
[Unit]
Description=Apache Tomcat Web Application Container
After=network.target

[Service]
Type=forking

Environment="JAVA_HOME=/usr/lib/jvm/java-11-openjdk-11.0.21.0.9-2.el9.x86_64"
Environment="CATALINA_PID=/opt/tomcat/updated/temp/tomcat.pid"

11. systemctl daemon-reload
12. systemctl start tomcat
13. systemctl enable tomcat
