Jota Quirino - Philippine Folkdance

A version of the jota that became popular in the 19th century, the La Jota Quirino is dedicated to the province of Quirino. This is distinguished from other versions of the jota by the use of elongated bamboo castanets that are not strung together, unlike the traditional Spanish bamboo castanets.
