This special tutorial was inspired by our Bird Workbook. Sometimes we see an outline and we think, "Oh, no, I have to do exactly what the intention of this outline was and make it as realistic as possible." I am here to tell you friends, that is so not the case. An outline gives you so much freedom. You can focus on color, value, different techniques and styles. You can approach things in a way that you've never thought to before because the composition is already done for you. And that's half of the work. With this tutorial, learn how to use outlines to play and really build up your technical skills and practice things that you may not do otherwise.
