This is the Definitive Guide to WBPP in Pixinsight.
This video explains the idea behind separating OSC data into individual (mono) RGB channels in order to register the colors and minimize color fringing and other aberrations.
This is from WBPP version 2.2- but the concept and application of this feature is the same for all current versions to-date.
Thanks to Jason Dain for providing the data which shows the benefit of the new separate OSC colors alignment and output.
