Let's Tear Down This Transfer Case!

I am going to tear down a NP 263XHD transfer case and inspect the parts to see what might be damaged inside.

This tear down is very similar on most of the NP261 / NP263 transfer cases that came on the GM trucks from 1999-2016 with some slight differences. The main concept remains the same.

This tool is key to getting this apart. it can be done without these pliers and I show how to do it without them, but its way easier with them. These open up wider than the pliers from the parts stores.
