Chocolate and jelly 2 layers Cake

Chocolate 2-layer cake, each moist layer embracing a luscious fruit jelly center that adds a burst of sweetness. Crowned with velvety whipped cream, this confection is a delightful symphony of rich chocolate, fruity goodness, and light, airy cream.
• 2 1/2 sticks unsalted butter
• 8 tbsp water
• 5 tbsp Rum
• 1 tbsp vanilla
• 2 cups granulated sugar
• 5 tbsp cocoa powder
All this ingredients it’s melted on medium heat and divided in 3/4 for the cake batter and 1/4 for glaze
Cake batter:
• 5 eggs
• 3/4 chocolate mixture previously made
• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 1 tbsp baking powder
You’ll need 10” round baking pan
Baking at 375 f for 15-17 minutes
• 1 cup your favorite jam for center ( I used homemade currant jam) raspberry or strawberry jam would be great
• 1/4 amount chocolate glaze
• whipped cream
