FLAT 3D ACRYLIC ART TUTORIAL PART 1 - Creating the Background Design

Hey Guys,

So in this video, I'm going to show you how to do Flat 3D with hand painted art. I'm gonna be working on a tip today so I've already filed and shaped it. I'm gonna lay down a gel polish background for this. I'm gonna be using Looking Glass, a gorgeous sort of aquamarine/teal colour and we're also going be using a very pale green.

We are going to layer both colours onto the nail and then blend them, but don't worry about making a perfect blend because the majority of it will be covered with the artwork that we're going to do over the top of. After completing the blend, we will outline our design with a pencil so that we have a guide for our paint to go over.

For this design, I'm going to be embracing my inner florist because we are also going to be using real flowers! OMG!!! I don't know what type of flowers these are but please let me know the name of them in the comment box below. They are the same colour as my hair as well. They are GORGEOUS!
