Day 03 | The 11th Convocation Ceremony | University of Sargodha

Celebrating the academic achievements of over 27,000 graduates, including 69% female students, the 11th convocation of the University of Sargodha concluded on Thursday. On the third day, degrees were awarded to graduates from the faculties of agriculture, social sciences, computing and information technology, engineering and technology, medical and health sciences, and pharmacy.
The procession was presided over by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas, with Chairman of Punjab Zakat and Ushr Council Rana Munawar Ghous as the chief guest. Notable attendees included Asim Naveed Ranjha, Deputy Mayor of Slough, UK; Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mian Ghulam Yasin; Registrar Waqar Ahmed; Controller Examinations Dr. Rehana Ilyas; and deans of various faculties.
Addressing the graduates, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas congratulated the graduates, their families, and teachers on this milestone achievement. He reiterated the university’s commitment to academic excellence and innovation, highlighting initiatives like the Incubation Center, strengthened industry-academia linkages, and international collaborations. “We aim to equip our students with skills that meet modern educational and industrial demands. He stated that today's graduates are the pioneers of a more promising future.
Chief Guest Rana Munawar Ghous lauded the graduates, calling them the “hope of the nation.” He urged graduates to uphold honesty, work hard, and embrace innovation in their careers. “Your journey has just begun. The future of Pakistan rests on your shoulders. Use your knowledge and skills to bring positive change and contribute to the country's progress,” he added.
