This is a recording from a Mappy Hour in collaboration with the OSM US Pedestrian Working Group on Wednesday, July 30th titled "Let's Map Some Sidewalks." Chad Blevins, co-chair of the working group, talks about sidewalk mapping in the United States and the group's development of a draft pedestrian mapping schema. Next, Arianna LaGamma shares her personal sidewalk mapping experience from Virginia to Missouri. The group then split into breakout rooms based on mapping experience to contribute to an ongoing project in Richmond, Virginia (this portion of the Mappy Hour was not recorded).

Mappy Hours are informal gatherings with presentations from community members about OpenStreetMap-related projects or topics. It's a space to meet new people and talk about things like mapping, tagging, local groups and events, the OSM US organization, and anything you want to discuss!
