Practice the art of "painting with scissors" just like Henri Matisse, in this art lesson on Positive and Negative space. Originally designed as a secondary lesson, this project can be simplified for intermediate grades. You will need scissors, a glue stick, some pieces of colorful construction paper and a white or black background. Also, follow along at the end of the video for a little Halloween activity using your paper-cut-out skills!
