Here's an awesome arrange that I've been wanting to share. Well, on second thought, 'soul-ful' is probably a better descriptor than 'awesome'. I only recently discovered this track, but Melancholic Road is an absolute goldmine for anyone who appreciates some solid blues/jazz in their life.

The first time I found Broken Moon, I fell in love at first sight (listen?). I can see why many arrangers prefer remixing this over Suika's proper theme.

It's a wonderfully versatile piece of work. No matter how you go about arranging it, it's trademark melody and pseudo-oriental feel always shines through.

This particular arrange by SaXi is no exception to the rule. The saxophone cuts through the ambience with raw emotion and, yes, 'soul'. It's quiet, but powerful, like a lone voice shouting the silence. It really is music you can just sit back and take it easy with.

Anyway, I hope you folks enjoy this as much as I did. I tried to find a bright image to offset all the dark/somber-looking ones recently, even though the song is pretty moody itself. I guess overall, it came out nostalgic?
