Ultimate guide to conquering the Path of the Gods hike | Amalfi Coast, Italy

Hike the famous “Path of the Gods” on the Amalfi Coast, Italy. Also known as “Sentiero degli Deli”, the Path of the Gods is an incredible hike along the lush and colourful cliff face of the Amalfi Coast. The trail starts in Bomerano which is within a tiny town called Agerola. The hike officially ends in Nocelle, however, continue walking and you will actually end in Positano. This video is your ultimate travel guide with everything you need to know, so you too can complete this breathtaking hike! (or just watch if you can’t get to Italy). It’s our favourite hike we have ever done and we are so excited to share it!

EXTRA TIPS
1. Plan your morning out: You will want to be done with this hike by midday if you’re going in summer because the sun is strong. We started the hike at 9:00am which meant catching an 8:00am bus from Amalfi.
2. What to wear: Anything comfortable, we wore shorts and a T-shirt, normal running shoes and sunscreen.
3. What to bring: Water bottle and phone. We also had a backpack and probably protein bars to snack on because we don’t go anywhere without a snack. Bring some small change in case you need to pay for the toilet or buy some water before you start.
The hike ends in Positano which is a bit Boushie. Your shoes and legs will get a little dirty on the hike, so you may be a bit raggedy compared to others. If you want, you could pack a change of clothes and shoes.
4. Doing the trip backwards: If you’re staying in Positano you can do this trip the other way around, in the morning catch a ferry from Positano to Amalfi town, then a bus to Bomerano and finish your hike back in Positano. Easy-peasy.
