Blisters, Sweat, and Tears - Long Distance Adventure Racing | Episode 8

This episode we go adventure rowing in the famous Seventy48 Race. Only human powered, row or paddle, 70 miles in under 48 hours. Our very own Diana Lesieur and Peter Vogel raced together in the very first Seventy48 Race back in 2018 rowing a Whitehall Spirit® Tango 17® Double Slide Seat Sculling Rowboat. This year's race included four Whitehall Spirit® boats and we were there!

Olympic gold medal rower Adam Kreek says, "This is one of the most famous, hardcore adventure events ever! It's the only one of its kind in the world! The qualifying leg is across, the often treacherous, Juan de Fuca Strait from Port Townsend, Washington, USA to Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. An incredible feat of man and woman versus nature!"
