This is a sewing pattern review! (#S9141) I will talk about the details of how I made this dress...although it turned out to be a tunic.
If you are into sewing spring clothes and looking for spring sewing patterns then you will love this diy shirred top dress!

I will go in detail on how i sewed this dress (althought its really a shirt)

Here are the details of the shirt/dress:
Pattern Description: Cynthia Rowley
Misses dress with shirred bodice and shoulder ties in mid-calf and mini lengths.
Pattern Sizing: 4-20

I made a size 18 in front 16 in back, my bust size is 40"

I like how the shirring turned out. I used 1/2" elastic to pull through the casing

Were the instructions easy to follow?
yes/no…not really a lot of instructions to go by. It didn’t say when to finish the top part.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?  I did not like the under arm area and the bias tape you would use to cover the raw edges.
What alterations did you do? I added thicker straps and ruffle sleeves

I purchased fabric from fabric.com. Rayon challis mauve color.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? no!

Would you make it again? hhheeeeellllll Nah!
What alterations would you reccomment? i would recommend thicker bias tape.
