Potato brown leaf spot is a disease found in potatoes and is caused by a fungus named as Alternaria Alternata. This fungus initially attacks on lower leaves of potato plant and then uper and then spread on whole potato plant. Initially some brown spots created on the leaf but after some time whole leaf color can be changed into yellow. This fungus activates when temperature in the field reaches to 18 -20 oC and moisture level in air increased.

Brown leaf spot of potato is a dangerous disease. Its true identification, favourable weather conditions, precautionary measures for its control and fungicides to reduce its effect has been discussed in the video.

براؤن لیف سپاٹ ایک بیماری ہے جو آلو میں پائی جاتی ہے اور یہ ایک فنگس کی وجہ سے ہوتی ہے جس کا نام Alternaria Alternata ہے۔ یہ فنگس ابتدائی طور پر آلو کے پودے کے نچلے پتوں پر حملہ کرتی ہے اور پھر اوپری اور پھر پورے آلو کے پودے پر پھیل جاتی ہے۔ ابتدائی طور پر پتے پر کچھ بھورے دھبے بن جاتے ہیں لیکن کچھ عرصے بعد پورے پتے کا رنگ پیلا ہو جاتا ہے۔ یہ فنگس اس وقت متحرک ہوتی ہے جب کھیت میں درجہ حرارت 18-20 سینٹی گریڈ تک پہنچ جاتا ہے اور ہوا میں نمی کی سطح بڑھ جاتی ہے۔
