Star Citizen Careers - The Fighter Pilot

After I made the Imagine Trailer, a lot of people asked me to make more Star Citizen video content. I toyed around with a number of ideas, but none of them really took off. What I wanted to do was make a video that would provide a fresh perspective to people already familiar with Star Citizen, while also being interesting to people looking into Star Citizen.

What I ended up settling on is a series of videos called Star Citizen Careers (SCC), which will serve as the spiritual successor to the Imagine Trailer.

Star Citizen Career videos are short segments that spotlight various potential Careers within the Star Citizen universe. These videos are designed to bring to life favorite Star Citizen Careers for current Backers, and showcase the potential of this game for new Backers or those on the fence. They feature voice actor narration, and demonstrate a number of reasons for the What and Why of each Career, as well as the awesomeness of pursuing said Careers.

For the first video of this series, I chose the Fighter Pilot Career. I wrote this as a propaganda piece from the perspective of the United Earth Empire military, as I wanted to explore what official governmental recruitment tactics would look like. As such, it's very much designed to be brimming with patriotism and a sense of the greater good.

Next week, I'll be releasing the Smuggler Career video, which is designed to be the total opposite of the Fighter Pilot in every way.

As with Imagine, this video would not have been possible without the help of some extraordinarily talented Star Citizen Community members - and because of this, I would like to dedicate this video to a few people:
Tendaarnight - For being cheerfully willing to spend hours arranging, participating in, and recording in-game footage so that this video could be possible.
