The last time I had a weekend in New York was 2008. I’ve been back a few times and the last time was in 2017 for Easter with Rya. New York will always have a special place in my heart, with its sights, sounds, smells and tastes.
This was my first US trip since COVID and there was a lot of anxiety but it was all worth it. I got to meet Christine and the girls, and catch up with family I hadn’t seen in over 20 years. I try to avoid trips where I’m on the plane longer than I’m in the city, but this is an exception. We’re celebrating Dom’s wedding with the Fook Chi Gang after all. :)
Super grateful Rykiel came out for this momentous occasion, and that I got to meet Allora. Watch us walk 50 blocks across Manhattan and eat our way through the city. Can’t wait to be back in the States again soon! 🇺🇸
