I went into a massive open-air phone junkyard filled with heaps of smashed smartphones and searched until I finally found an iPhone 17 Air in slightly better condition than the rest.
Back home, I did normal checks—power button, charging test, cable swaps, port inspection—then opened it up, diagnosed the fault, repaired the damaged part, reassembled everything, and powered it on.
The best part is the final proof: full testing of touch, display, cameras, charging, speakers, mic, and buttons.
