Now that the Hyvibe system is available to buy as a kit from www.hyvibeguitar.com I bought one and installed in my 30 year old Mitchell MD500S solid body guitar that I purchased from Guitar Center in San Jose back in 1990. I have many guitars but I always come back to playing this one as I love the tone and it only cost me $400 back then, approx $800 in today's money. They say professional installation is required but if you are handy with tools you can do it yourself. Its really easy!
