Back in the finals of the Glasgow Challenger, 38-year-old Mikhail Kukushkin, who reached his first Challenger final in 2024, faced in-form second seed Clement Chidekh, who won last week's Nottingham (indood hard) Challenger. The former still had the level that allowed him to take the opening set, but was he able to sustain it, given the latter's level-raise since the second set?
