I wrote "You're Everything" when I was sharing an apartment with Neville Potter in 1971. Neville had a day job, and I'd be working at night. So I'd write melodies and leave them for Neville on a cassette recorder. And I'd tell him "See if you could put some lyrics to this..." And he'd come back with a set of lyrics. We did that with a lot of tunes: with "Sometime Ago", "500 Miles High" -- other tunes of that era. It was a really good working relationship. We've remained friends through the years.
