Captain Claw - Custom Level - Mystery of Shipyards (Almost Perfect Score)

An almost perfect score walkthrough on one of the underrated custom levels based on Shipyards created by First who has also done the interestingly built In Search of National Treasure. While this one has been released earlier, this level also has a similar region with comparatively huge amounts of treasures being very cleverly hidden like the national treasure secret.

However compared to the latter, this one is very much higher in terms of difficulty with immense amount of trickery and require precisely timed jumps be it pixel perfect or due to swift togglepegs and ropes. But the creativity and the strategy needed to crack them is mind-blowingly done which makes this level more appealing to me despite the difficulty. Another interesting aspect is how well the ships have been constructed such that the level itself feels like layers and layers on the ships resulting in a mazy experience due to the usage of several upper decks, lower decks, masts and some even rise way above and long to the extent that they end up reaching nearer to the adjacent ship. The boss fight is fairly innovative and it took advantage of the rolling bombs glitch which could make the fight a bit tricky but at the same time it is possible to stay high at the togglepegs and finish off Gabriel without much bother.

It has been five years since I started trying out this level (I gave up on it back in 2021 and returned back to it recently) and finally ended up with the maximum possible score as per my exploration. I did a decent amount of search in the map as well but could not gather any idea on the couple of geckos and four coins which appear to be more mysterious than the secret which is meant to be the mystery of the shipyards xd. While I suspect it to be unobtainable treasure, if any one has spotted them anywhere could drop a comment reporting the same. However I am very satisfied with this end product as I had done pretty silly errors in my penultimate attempts and this time I nailed almost every hard secrets.

Overall a very difficult level to obtain the maximum possible score constituting several strategy based places and trickery way ahead of its time
