Whilst turquoise waves of the Mediterranean were crashing against the cliffs upon which the ancient castle was perched; the city’s residents were living a peaceful and prosperous life in this place. Within the historical city enclosed by fortress walls, ancient civilizations’ way of life and culture was preserved and carried over centuries. The Red Tower was serving as a guardian for the ancient port, crowned with iconic structures, while the shipyard was bringing together the centuries-old trees from the summit of the Taurus Mountains with the salty Mediterranean waters. Feeling the traces of the time when human touch meticulously wove this delicate landscape stitch by stitch like fine embroidery, across every corner of the historic peninsula instills confidence and peace.
