The Praetors of New Phyrexia are a study in what would happen if the soul was removed from the color pie, leaving but a twisted form of their philosophies. This in itself is so fascinating I had to do a mtg color study on the 5 of them, especially considering the recent events in the story of Magic the Gathering where it would seem that the Phyrexian invasion will bring the Praetors plans into motion.
