One of my favourite things to draw and paint is the elusive Hare! For me, the fun starts with the drawing and getting the perspective and detail the way I want it. The painting process is really fun from start to finish.

I apply a loose wash in the very beginning with a big brush and then gradually work into more and more detail. By the time I've finished, my brush has gone from a big round brush to a minuscule micro brush, as I work on the final touches and loose strands of the fur, hair and whiskers.

Each stage of the process is really enjoyable for me. I hope you like watching this hare come to life.
