Media ethics: from understanding media to shaping them?

Claudia Paganini is an assistant professor at the Department of Christian Philosophy of the University of Innsbruck. She studied studied philosophy and theology at the Universities of Innsbruck and Vienna. For her habilitation thesis on media ethics she was awarded the Father Johannes Schasching SJ Prize in 2018. Her research focuses on media, medical, animal, and environmental ethics. Claudia Paganini is the organizer of the Austrian-Canadian Ethics Workshop, which takes place annually at the University of Innsbruck, and is a member of various ethics committees.
