1978--Cathy Cat Davis Documentary on the early roots of Women's Boxing History in the 70's

WBAN tried for years to get the real scoop from Cathy "Cat" Davis about her questionable fights, as there was news in her era about her questionable matchups when she fought. We always wanted to set the record straight with Cathy, and the guy that was involved with her Sal Algieri.

In one fight she was clearly KO'd by Ernestine Jones, and somehow Algieri was able to get that fight a "No Contest" to keep Cathy's record undefeated. We ALWAYS wanted to talk to her about this fight, because she said in the news sources that she was KO'd, and didn't deny it (past news article).

We also wanted to talk to her about Margie Dunson who fought her four different times, and appears to have never won a fight, including all the "pro debut" boxers that she fought.

We hope that Cathy "Cat" Davis will contact us and give her side of what all this was about and "Set the Record Straight."
