In this new series I am taking a look at the full discography of David Bowie (both live and studio albums). Starting wit his first album I am going to review his entire catalogue and try to notice changes, developments and see what a chronological listen of his music does with the experience.
In 1978 David Bowie recorded his live album 'Welcome to the Blackout' in Earls Court, London during his Isolar II tour. In early 1979 he sat down for the mix of this live-album when it was supposed to be released as a concertfilm but he decided not to release it due to a disliking of how it was shot. In 2018 the live album was finally released on Record Store Day on 3 disc vinyl.
