In this project, I built a handcrafted Nixie-style clock using an ESP32 and a custom brass-rod frame.
The entire structure is assembled by hand, focusing on real electronics, clean geometry, and a minimal mechanical design.
This clock combines modern microcontroller control with a retro Nixie-inspired display, all mounted inside a polished brass skeleton.
No 3D printing, no plastic enclosure — just brass rods, soldered joints, and functional electronics.
Build highlights:
ESP32-based clock control
Nixie-style digital display
Hand-soldered brass rod frame
Minimalist, open-structure design
Fully functional DIY electronics project
This build is part of my ongoing exploration of brass-rod electronics, retro-futuristic design, and practical DIY engineering.
