Here I am, running 35mm step dies, made out of plastic in a Pullmax P5. In the first run, I pass the sheet metal thru the dies without the straight fence adjusted to hold down the sheet. The result is an unwanted bend along the sheet. To prevent this, I adjust the straight guide down before the second pass, I set the straight guide with clearance of the sheet metal between the lower die and the straight guide. And I also make sure to lift the sheet up a bit once I run it thru the dies, this to prevent the sheet from bending there aswell. This Pullmax P5 is for sale.
