Historic Smithville, NJ - Located within Galloway Township, in Atlantic County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. A cozy and quaint historic village where you can go back in time. The village is made up of old historic homes and business's from as far back as the 1800's. There is plenty to do here for all ages and a great place to go for a quick getaway with the family. There's plenty of place to eat and even more place to shop. Most of the shops are mom and pop shops from around the area. Store range from movie memorabilia, to all things peanut butter to all imported Italian goods to a dedicate Christmas store! There's a little bit of everything for everyone

There are plenty of places to stay in the village, either in a barn or in a private cottage or it you'd like stay right smackdown in the village and be a part of the town for a few nights you have that option too or you can stay in a room right on the lake. The lake also has paddle boats and also there's a train that runs though the village for the kids.

My favorite thing to do as you see in this video is walk around as the sun is going down. All the business are closed and it seems like you have the entire town to yourself, you walk around freely going down small alleyways of this old homes with warm lighting and beautiful sunset over the lake.
