Bandit first made an appearance on the property in the 2022-23 deer season. He was a unique 3.5 year old that was blind in his right eye. Bandit was all over the cameras that season but never did show himself while Josh was out hunting after other deer. Fast forward to spring and summer of 2023 and Bandit is still all over the cameras! With a new food plot created in Bandits core area he was very consistent early in the season. Josh had another buck named Lucky that he was trying to catch up with, but it wasn't working out. On November 6th, Josh decided to switch it up and go after Bandit. Bandit had been daylight in the food plot for a few days in a row, so the odds were in Josh's favor. With light fading and a plot full of does, Bandit decided to show himself with his nose to the ground chasing does all through the plot. Bandit was lucky that day as Josh went full draw on him at 36 yards but lost camera light. On November 21st Josh received a pic of Bandit crossing the food plot around 1130 in the morning. It was a day full of rain, but it looked like Josh could slip in the stand an hour or so before dark. It didn't take long before a lot of does started feeding. Right before 5pm Bandit made his appearance!
