Ganid was formed in 2006 and started to play their composition in March 5, 2009. The first composition made was entitled, "Sentencia."

This was a song for heinous criminals; frustration over the victims' and the affected families’ loss of justice fueled the song's creation. Appalling torture over death penalty; a fitting punishment for the bona fide convicts rather than giving an escape, through death.

The band incorporates death metal's sullen tone and grindcore's turbo tempo in their music to suit their taste. Due to the mentioned violent flavor of music, their subject is about vengeance, rape and homicide victims, self-proclaimed righteous groups, dissembling politicians, us on how we maltreat our world and harm others for our own gain.

Until now, the band is still active and just creating ear-shattering tunes that they'd take pleasure playing.
