The moment Stefani Bucher picked up a camera as a child, it inspired a lifelong affliction with looking at the world through a creative lense.

Stef.fx Visual Arts has manifested today into a full time career and visual arts platform. Inspired by both the Spiritual and the Natural, Stef.fx offers services for visual arts, visual arts performance, as well as creative design, consulting and photography/videography.

Stef.fx was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. When she first started attending festivals in high school, she discovered the art of VJing and became obsessed with the works of visionaries such as Johnathan Singer, Android Jones, and Steven Haman. Studying at Florida State University, she found a passion for video and visual art while utilizing the various studios on campus – learning in fields such as film, video, visual installations and projection mapping.

Stef.fx’s visual art is heavily inspired by the nature around her as well the exotic ecosystems she visits and records each year. Stef.fx’s art showcases serene natural locations often affected by climate change – she’s visited both poles and frequents tropical locations around the world. Her goal is to record in all 7 biomes, while also intimately expressing and inviting emotional responses in a rewarding and special way for the viewer.

Shortly after the passing of her grandmother, an artist herself and a big personal influence, Bucher developed her current moniker, logo and brand, Stef.fx Visual Arts. A butterfly serves as the primary logo, symbolizing growth, transformation, and the soul. Learning under the tutelage of career visual artist’s VJ Kobra and UTAWtaw Visuals, she officially began performing as Stef.fx in Fall of 2021. Stef.fx has provided visuals for acts like Meduso, Mystic Grizzly, Josh Teed, Sacred Snow, and OVOID, and performed at events such as WAKAAN Festival, Sol Music Festival, and Sound Haven.
