Here are 3 inflation busting recipes I cook nearly every week. All recipes cost under £1 per portion, prices from September 2022 (I shop at Aldi and Tescos for these prices) Making cheap, frugal dinners like this is one of the many ways we save money and are able to live off one income as a homeschooling family of 4 in the UK.

Recipe 1 :- Bean chilli with jacket potatoes. (x4 servings) £3.20 OR £0.80 PER SERVING.
Ingredients
kidney beans X1 Tin :- £0.59
Mixed Beans X1 Tin :- £0.59
Carrot :- £0.06
Celery :- £0.10
Onion :- £0.09
Bell Pepper :- £0.23
Garlic :- £0.06
Herbs/Spices/Oils :- £0.25
Stock pot :- £0.18
Jacket Potatoes :- £1.05
(replace Jacket potato with rice £0.20pp OR homemade tortilla wraps £0.25pp to lower the overall price of the dish)

Recipe 2 :- Mushroom bolognese (x4 servings) £ 1.75 OR £0.44 PER SERVING.
Pasta :- £0.32
Mushrooms :- £0.35
Carrots :- £0.06
Onions :- £0.09
Celery :- £0.10
Garlic :- £0.06
Tin chopped tomatos :- £0.28
Stock pot :- £0.18
Herbs/spices/oils & vinegar :- £0.35


Recipe 3 :- Vegetable Fajitas with homemade tortilla wraps. (x3 servings) £2.98 OR £0.99 PER SERVING. (I accidentally put the wrong price for flour and black beans on the video! these are the correct prices)
Mushrooms :- £0.70
Onions :- £0.30
Peppers :- £0.69
Black Beans :- £0.49
Flour :- £0.20
Herbs/spices/oils :- £0.60
