082 hauled the Sperry train, consisting of a Sperry wagon, two water tanks and a MkI Coach, from East Wall yard to M3 Parkway and back on the 16th of April 2014. I filmed this movement, among others, at Ossory Road alongside fellow YouTubers 'The Irish Mainline' and 'irish rail trains.'
The opening shots show the Sperry train, spoil wagons, stored MkIII Coaches, a HOBs train and a rake of old ballast wagons in East Wall Yard.
We then sprinted to Ossory Road to see the Sperry and whilst there, the Taras made an appearance.
After a swift dash through the streets of Dublin, we arrived at Spring Garden Street a split second too late!
THEN we walked at less demanding pace to Claude Road hoping to film the Sperry returning and also the IWT Liner. We saw the Sperry but were forced to 'evacuate' for several minutes. Because of this I missed 081 Light Engine and the IWT:(
Anyway I hope you enjoy the footage I did manage to catch:) 'The Irish Mainline' braved the 'conditions' to film the LE and he and 'irish rail trains' both caught the IWT liner.
