People with Cystic Fibrosis who are unable to produce a mucus sample on their own through coughing get a throat swab at every 3-month clinic visit to check for CF organisms that could be growing and damaging their lungs. This can be difficult and scary for the younger patients. We hope that this short video helps them through it.
