In connection with west region's Culture Week in 2016 in Denmark, the artist Thomas Dambo built 6 giants of recycled wood, which are 'hidden' by the forest, lake and hill top in selected places on west region. Go for a walk in the beautiful nature and see if you can find The 6 Forgotten Giants, which invite play and imagination for both big and small.All six sculptures are made from scrap wood with the help of local volunteers, and is the first chapter of Thomas Dambo’s ongoing story: “The great story of the little people and the giant trolls”.The project wants to bring art out of the museum, show the beautiful and often overlooked nature spots, and at the same time give an exciting and different experience.
