If I Can Stop One Soul from Breaking - Undertale Yellow × Honkai: Star Rail (Original Cover Song)

Here's a weird mix that came to my mind and I couldn't get rid of: a combination of "If I Can Stop One Heart from Breaking" from Honkai: Star Rail, and the credits theme of Undertale Yellow.

If I had to guess, I'd say that this idea came because of the theme that both melodies revolve. Robin's song, as beautiful as it is, it's really a cry for help, for only she seems to understand the cognitive prison she and all dreamers are in, while Undertale Yellow's pacifist ending reflects the painful reality the monsters live in, trapped in the underground with the only promise of getting out by human hunting.

In case you like lore, I thought of this song as Martlet's cry of help. Not for breaking free from the Underground, that's what everybody wants, but rather ranting about the only solution everyone seems to trust and bypass, instead to seek a path that can let them free of their cage without needing to get human souls. A path that doesn't require to break more souls.

Last but not least: I sang again, in order to settle the lyrics and share this crazy little story that got stuck in my head. I hope my voice doesn't subtract from the song lol.
