MONOCHRONE UNDERPAINTING. I have my scene drawn out in charcoal pencil and sprayed with Workable Fixative. Now I will tone the canvas and establish my values. This is a VERY important step for a successful painting! Follow along and you will see how the painting takes on perspective and personality just by putting in the darks and lights.
