मनरेगा (MGNREGA) का नाम बदलने के लिए लोकसभा में मोदी सरकार बिल लेकर आ गई है. मनरेगा का नाम अब वीबी-जीरामजी होगा. यानी 'विकसित भारत जी राम जी' योजना. सरकार के इस प्रस्ताव से विपक्ष खपा है. इस पर प्रियंका गांधी वाड्रा और राम गोपाल यादव ने सरकार की आलोचना की और इसे अधिकारों और विकेंद्रीकरण के खिलाफ बताया.
The Modi government has introduced a bill in the Lok Sabha to change the name of MGNREGA. Under the proposal, MGNREGA will now be renamed VB-G Ram G, which stands for “Viksit Bharat Ji Ram Ji” scheme. The government’s move has angered the opposition. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Ram Gopal Yadav criticized the proposal, calling it an attack on people’s rights and against the principles of decentralization.
