NASCAR 25 The Great American Race on Christmas Eve Daytona 500 Part 2 25 Days of Speed 24

Hello everybody and welcome back to the channel, and welcome to Day 24 of The 25 Days of Speed, and Merry Christmas to each and every one of you, because that’s right, today is Christmas Eve, and we are celebrating it in a huge way with a very special NASCAR 25 race, the Daytona 500, also known as The Great American Race 🎄🏁.

Now I know exactly what you’re probably thinking right now, “Landon, why are you running the Daytona 500 at the end of the regular season instead of the beginning?”, and the answer is simple, because earlier this season we already ran the Pepsi 400 to kick things off, and I felt there was no better way to wrap up the regular season than by running the biggest, most iconic race in all of NASCAR on Christmas Eve itself.

The Daytona 500 is one of the most legendary races in motorsports history, taking place at Daytona International Speedway, where every NASCAR Cup Series season traditionally begins, with the very first running of this race dating all the way back to 1959, and while it usually marks the start of the season, in our NASCAR 25 season it now serves as the dramatic conclusion to the regular season, making the stakes even higher than ever before.

This race is also considered a Crown Jewel event, and for those who may not follow NASCAR closely, Crown Jewel races aren’t just about winning a trophy or scoring points, they’re about legacy, history, and being remembered forever, because once you win a race like the Daytona 500, your name is talked about for the rest of your life, and that victory follows you wherever NASCAR history is mentioned.

Last time out at Iowa Speedway for the Dodge/Save Mart 350, we brought home a solid 7th place finish, which officially secured our spot in the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs, but now the big question remains, can we carry that momentum into Daytona, survive the chaos, avoid the wrecks, and somehow pull off a victory in the Great American Race to cap off the regular season in unforgettable fashion?
