Rotor Install on Yamaha Tuba

Removing the rotors from your instruments is actually a big deal. Keeping them safe, clean and then aligning everything perfectly is a bit of a dance, but anyone can learn the steps. In today’s video I show you several considerations for when you’re installing rotors back into your instrument.

In today’s video, I’m working on a Yamaha rotor valved tuba with a very nice removable interior section which makes this process luxuriously easy. This should be a standard feature on all tubas… and french horns and Euphoniums but it's not. Sad.
