Some 'D&A' lifts that I found in Stoke Mandeville Hospital near Aylesbury

I didn't think this place would have any lifts worth filming. There is a new block with some lifts, but I'm not keen in filming them as they don't look particularly special (and probably have the usual COP style).
I went into the old building, and found part of the building had a first floor, and there were signs showing the way to the lifts.
These look like they've been modernised, but check out the long vertical window in the doors.
Not even sure if they were Hydraulic or traction. Pretty sure they were traction due to a kind of 'whirring' that felt like a traction machine. But surely single rise lifts would either be hydraulic or MRL. It's definately not MRL. Ah well, I'm not going to loose any sleep over which one it is!!
