Overview

In an era when carmakers are reducing displacement and cylinder counts with electrification, it's a novelty to see a hybrid that flips the script. The 2025 Lamborghini Revuelto sticks with an iconic mid-mounted V-12 and adds three electric motors to the mix, producing an otherworldly 1001 horsepower. As a plug-in hybrid, the Revuelto uses those extra electrons for performance rather than for improving efficiency. As a result, you get instantaneous acceleration without losing the glorious sounds coming from the engine and exhaust, but fuel economy is almost as atrocious as the 769-hp Aventador it replaces. Then again, if you have $600,000 to throw at a car, we doubt fuel costs are much of a concern.

Fuel Economy and Real-World MPG

Hybrid or not, the Revuelto is terrible when it comes to fuel efficiency. The EPA rates it at 23 MPGe and estimates it will return just 10 mpg city and 17 mpg highway, which is comparable to the 6000-pound Ford F-150 Raptor. Keep in mind that these estimates are based on conservative driving, which runs counter to everything Lamborghini. Interior, Comfort, and Cargo

There are only two seats in the Revuelto because, well, the Italians put 12 cylinders where the backseats would normally go. The Revuelto is no ordinary car. Its cockpit is more space race than automobile. There are four rotors on the steering wheel that control drive modes, and additional buttons activate the turn signals as well as initiate the launch control. Lamborghini says the Revuelto has more headroom and legroom than the Aventador, which shouldn't be difficult. There's space behind the seats to fit a single golf bag as well frunk space that can easily accommodate two carry-on luggage bags.
