Did you shop at the Hallmark card store in the 1980s? If you did, you most likely came across this precious gem one year and either bought it, or passed it up as another add-on to your purchase.
Though these books were true masterpieces, they tended to be quite delicate. Due to the fact that this pop-up story was meant for children, not many were left intact. If you know of this copy, but cannot find your own, let this video allow you to revisit Hallmark's version of this classic in all of its glory.
This video is also intended for those desiring a simple, calm, read through of a timeless classic via short car trip home, etc.
Through the years, Hallmark has delighted our family with creative cards, wrapping paper, and above all holiday extras with every purchase. I am truly sad that this card shop is no longer in our area, but times change and they have an online store for all my Christmas ornament needs! :-)
