The 2025 BYD Qin L is offered in two distinct versions: a fully electric (EV) model and a plug-in hybrid (DM-i). The EV variant is powered by BYD’s Blade LFP batteries and comes with two range options—470 km and 545 km under CLTC standards—delivering between 110 kW and 160 kW (150–218 PS). It measures around 4830 mm in length, with a wheelbase between 2790 mm and 2820 mm, and weighs between 1670 kg and 1800 kg depending on configuration. Designed as a five-seater, it emphasizes practicality with modern electric performance.
Meanwhile, the Qin L DM-i plug-in hybrid combines a 1.5L gasoline engine with electric components for improved fuel efficiency and versatility. Like the EV, it shares a similar body size of 4830 mm in length and a 2790 mm wheelbase, ensuring roomy cabin space. The hybrid version is paired with an automatic transmission featuring a 7-speed gearbox, delivering smooth power delivery while maintaining the balance between electric driving and combustion engine support.
