Here’s your chance to own a complete set from Sonor’s iconic Phonic Plus series, finished in classic Gloss White. These are true 1980s rock drums – used by giants like Nicko McBrain (Iron Maiden) and Tommy Lee (Mötley Crüe) – known for their massive sound and uncompromising build quality.

12x12 tom (Phonic Plus)

13x13 tom (Phonic Plus)

16x16 floor tom (Phonic)

22x18 bass drum (Phonic Plus)

2 tom arms, 1 bass drum tom mount, and 3 floor tom legs included

Specifications & Condition
Classic square sizes provide huge projection, powerful attack, and a short, focused sustain – perfect for rock and metal

9-ply German beech shells deliver warmth, punch, and balanced tone

Original ferromanganese hoops and Snap-Lock lugs – tuning stays stable over time

Exceptionally durable hardware – built to last

All hardware is original and in good condition, with only minor cosmetic wear (light pitting)

Every drum has been fully disassembled, cleaned, and machine-polished, with all moving parts lubricated

Finish
White wrap that hides marks and wear very well

The 12" and 16" toms were previously lightly sanded by a former owner and now have a silk-matte finish after machine polishing

All badges were removed and reinstalled with original press sleeves

Rack toms have two badges each, floor tom has one badge, and the bass drum has no badge

Drumheads
All heads were replaced after restoration and have only seen minimal use. High-quality heads throughout:

Bass Drum: Evans EQ3 Clear batter head with patches for double pedal + Remo Powerstroke 3 front head with Sonor logo
