One woman spent over $140,000 on high-ticket coaching, channeling sessions, and manifestation courses (only to end up broke, emotionally devastated, and gaslit into believing she created her own trauma). The other narrowly escaped a predatory NLP certification scheme, after sitting through three days of emotional manipulation, sleep deprivation, and pushy sales tactics disguised as “business coaching.”

These stories are all too common in the self-help and online coaching industry, where buzzwords like “healing,” “manifestation,” and “six-figure mindset” are used to exploit people in vulnerable states. We’re diving deep into the warning signs, the culty vibes, and the emotional manipulation behind these programs and why so many intelligent, well-meaning people are getting caught in the web.
